“We recently had the incredible opportunity to stay at Chuck’s home, My Baja Paradise, located in the breathtaking Bahia de los Sueños, Baja California Sur—and what an unforgettable experience it was for my entire family.

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. Each morning greeted us with a dreamlike view of the sunrise over the calm, crystal-clear waters, and every evening closed with picture-perfect sunsets that left us in awe. The house itself is fully air-conditioned, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you need to unwind and disconnect from the outside world.

Whether we were swimming in the pool, grilling up a delicious carne asada, or simply relaxing with loved ones, every moment felt like a gift. The rooms are spacious and elegant—perfect for both kids and adults—and the setting is ideal for families looking to reconnect and make lasting memories.

One of the most magical parts of our stay was the chance to experience world-class sportfishing. Waking up early, heading out on the water, catching fresh fish, and then preparing it in the home’s luxury kitchen made for some of the best moments of our trip.

“This house was great. It’s nestled into a quiet picturesque corner of beautiful coastline. You’re almost surrounded by water. The house itself breathes an easy but luxurious comfort. The WiFi and all utilities work great. It would be perfect for a destination work-from-home, especially if you like fishing.

Basically walking distance from the house is an active take-off point for local commercial and tourist fishermen. Chuck, the owner of the house, introduced us to local guides who took care of everything for our fishing excursion. I ended up catching local Dorado and even took in a once-in-a-lifetime marlin. I’m talking 100 pounds. I didn’t even know that kind of fishing existed – I’ve never had such a good time on the water. It was honestly a profound experience.”

“We spent a week here in the Spring, and it was an amazing experience. It’s a couple hours from San Jose del Cabo airport — an easy drive, especially with a lunch stop on the way. It’s a peaceful, off-the-grid kind of place, so we stopped at the grocery store in Cabo to stock up on the way. The house is in a small community with a gated entrance that is monitored 24/7, and was also equipped with security cameras. We could walk down to the water in about 15 min, run/hike the trails surrounding the house, and see the sunset every morning. There’s a small store a short drive away for any items we needed, and we got to know the staff at a local restaurant for patio drinks and delicious ceviche.

The house is perfect for groups or multiple families, with three separate sleeping areas including a private casita downstairs. It had everything we needed: an outdoor pool (with a basketball hoop!) and hot tub with ocean views, gym equipment, outdoor BBQ area, and a large table where we spent the evenings playing games and building puzzles.

This is the perfect stay for world-class sports fishing. We would leave the driveway and be on the boat in the water within 20 minutes. The fisherman’s bay is bustling with locals (shout out to Tuna Fishing Co!), giving the area a hidden-gem feel. Be sure to bring cash for a bucket of freshly caught sardines to use as bait. We caught tons of fish, including marlin, and enjoyed fresh ceviche and fish tacos. Everyday on the water was an adventure even aside from the fishing – we saw whales, schools of rays, and giant sea turtles.

The host was attentive and responsive, and always gave great recommendations for things to do and see.Overall, the trip had something for everyone and we can’t wait to go back. 10 out of 10 would recommend!”
